Coppice Boarding Kennels and Cattery is a friendly establishment located on the outskirts of rural Melbourne, South Derbyshire. Offering comfortable, secure accommodation, daily exercise sessions plus plenty of playtime and love from our knowledgeable and experienced staff. We welcome dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and ages.

We invite all of our clients to come and visit us before booking so that you can see our facilities and beautiful grounds for yourself, and we can talk your through our daily routine, answering any queries, to ensure that you are completely happy when leaving your pets in our care.

We have a small, close-knit team of dedicated, caring and knowledgeable staff, who care greatly about the welfare and happiness of our guests. 

Coppice Kennels and Cattery has been open for 30+ years, and is now run by Billie Jo, who has been manager since January 2018 after working with the previous manager for nearly two years. Billie grew up surrounded by animals and has cared for a variety of small pets, always having dogs and cats too. She has had a life-long passion for animals and achieved a National Diplma of Animal Care. When she isn't at the kennels and cattery, she walks and cuddles her two dogs at home, walking them through the lovely local countryside.

Our kennel assistants all have pets of their own, and this shows in the level of care they give and passion they have for our guests. When they aren't here playing with the dogs and cats they are all studying various subjects at college and university.
