We are currently closed, but we are taking new bookings from April 10th onwards.
We are busy getting everything ready so we might miss your call. Therefore we ask you to please leave an email or answerphone message with any enquiries, cancellations or bookings you may have. We will be returning calls and emails as soon as possible.
We understand that lots of events, flights and holidays are being cancelled and therefore your pets will no longer need to stay with us for dates you have booked in. We do not have a cancellation fee, but we ask that you do please call or email to let us know of any cancellations or alterations that need to be made to existing bookings.
Customer and staff safety is very important to us, and we have introduced steps to lowering the risk of the virus spreading between our staff and you. It can be arranged so that you can drop off and collect your pets without having to come into close contact with any of our staff or other customers.
We are so grateful to our customers that have already got in touch to let us know, and we are sorry to hear that your plans have been cancelled. We hope we can be of service looking after your pets in the future, we are missing them all so much!
We would also like to thank all of our amazing customers who continue to support us throughout the years. Whether it is one overnight stay, or multiple weeks throughout the year, your custom supports us as a small family run business and allows us all to work our dream jobs. We love working with all of you and your wonderful pets.

We have a small, close-knit team of dedicated, caring and knowledgeable staff, who care greatly about the welfare and happiness of our guests. Most of our staff are family, and we are all hugely passionate about our jobs!
Coppice Kennels and Cattery has been open for 30+ years, and is now run by Billie Jo, who has been manager since January 2018 after working with the previous manager for nearly two years. Billie grew up surrounded by animals and has cared for a variety of small pets, always having dogs and cats too. She has had a life-long passion for animals and achieved a triple distinction in the National Diploma of Animal Management. When she isn't at the kennels and cattery, she walks and cuddles her two dogs at home, walking them through the lovely local countryside.
Charlie Jo has been assistant manager at Coppice Kennels and Cattery since October 2019 after working here for nearly two years. Being Billie Jo's sister, she grew up with dogs and cats too, as well as all the other small pets. When she isn't at the kennels and cattery, she is caring for her chickens, pigs, sheep and cow at her small holding.
Our kennel assistants all have pets of their own, and this shows in the level of care they give and passion they have for our guests. When they aren't here playing with the dogs and cats they are all studying various subjects at college and university.
